KAZ (Keyboarding A-Z) |
|
| Subject : | ICT, Keyboard Skills |
| Age Range : | 5 Adult |
| National Curriculum : | Key Stages 1-4 |
| Scottish Curriculum : | Level A-16+ |
Developed in the UK, KAZ has dramatically reduced the time and increased the enjoyment associated with learning to touch type for all ages from 5 to adults. Typically KAZ takes just 90 minutes to teach the A-Z keys and around 4 hours to cover the complete keyboard. Practice is provided in small bursts with KAZ Speed Builder.
This
makes KAZ the ideal choice for any school, especially where the
time available is limited, fast results are needed and where maintaining
student motivation to learn is vital. Learning can be split into
sessions and students learn to touch type words within minutes.
Where most typing tutors are based on old learning methods with boring typing drills and dozens of exercises and analysis, the revolutionary KAZ method is based on 11 words in just 5 phrases.
With an estimated one million users, KAZ is widely used in primary and secondary schools and in further education colleges. Hundreds of thousands of Open University and LearnDirect students have also benefited from learning with KAZ.
Choose from either single CDs or low bandwidth network and intranet versions. KAZ network and intranet come complete with audio and text versions along with a Teachers Guide, sample lesson plan and student tracking. KAZ runs on all versions of Windows from 95 upwards and on Apple Mac.
PLEASE NOTE : The Curriculum Online scheme does not apply to Further Education or Higher Education establishments in the UK or to overseas education establishments.
